Parental Bill of Rights + Curriculum Transparency

Demand a strong Parental Bill of Rights guaranteeing full transparency into school curricula, the right to consent, and comprehensive opt-out rights for parents.

The Problem

Parents across America are discovering that their children are being taught material they find objectionable, inappropriate, or ideologically extreme — often without their knowledge or consent. Schools have adopted policies that deliberately exclude parents from important decisions about their children's education, health, and well-being. Some schools have facilitated social transitions of children without parental notification, provided access to sexually explicit materials, and promoted ideological content that conflicts with families' deeply held values. When parents have spoken up, they have been dismissed, demonized, and in some cases investigated by law enforcement. Parents — not government bureaucrats — are the primary stakeholders in their children's education.

The Resolution

We the People demand a strong Parental Bill of Rights at every level of government guaranteeing: full transparency into all curricula and instructional materials, the right to review and consent to health services provided at school, comprehensive opt-out rights for any instruction that conflicts with family values, mandatory parental notification of any social transition or counseling, and protection from retaliation for parents who exercise these rights. Parents are the primary authority over their children's education.
